Buffets aren’t around now thanks to the pandemic, but with several new restaurants serving everything from ramen to daily-made doughnuts to Angus burgers coming to a new plaza at a long-standing Manhattan Beach mall, it could feel like you’re at an outdoor smorgasbord this summer.
Manhattan Village, a 648,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor shopping mall, is undergoing a $250 million renovation and expansion which is changing the look of the approximately 40-year-old retail center and adding a new outdoor plaza called the Village Shops, where more than a dozen restaurants will be located.
A few, such as well-known spots California Pizza Kitchen and Chili’s Grill and Bar, have been at the mall for years and they will be joined by nine more new spots expected to open by the summer.
Here are the restaurants that are opening at the Village Shops soon.
